Our first server, WasteLandZ™ Season 1 on Xbox, was an exciting launch and an emerse learning experience. The intent of the server was to provide a toxic free server void of favoritism, owner/admin abuse, and without the boosted loot found on every other server. Our first server, WasteLandZ™ Season 1 on Xbox, was an exciting launch and an emerse learning experience. The intent of the server was to provide a toxic free server void of favoritism, owner/admin abuse, and without the boosted loot found on every other server. We used to be suggestions, gripes, and valuable lessons about DayZ server hosting to move toward a more difficult season 2 adventure. Season 2 included custom modes bases, book questions and exciting survival challenges, however it just wasn’t difficult enough. We found players tended to stay in the safety of their modded bases and rarely adventured out around the map. Here the idea for a more hardcore survival challenge was created SEASON 3

Each season is a fresh starting point for our adventure. We like to stay connected to our players with meet-ups and gameplay events, providing what the players actually want. Each season is a fresh starting point for our adventure. We like to stay connected to our players with meet-ups and gameplay events, providing what the players actually want. Leaving the timid adventure of season2 behind, we decided from player input to morph to a more “hardcore” survival experience, cold weather, the elimination of most canned food, and reduced stamina while keeping some of the original season2 features active such as 3pp, trader, and a safe zone with safe zone housing.

In October of 2023 we transitioned fully to PC. This was due to the limitations with Console Dayz. Our commitment to difficulty and realism continue to expand. The vision of these atributributes flourish with the creation of "Survival in Winter Chernarus". We welcome your feedback and keep working to make each server better than the last.
In October of 2023 we transitioned fully to PC. This was due to the limitations with Console Dayz. Our commitment to difficulty and realism continue to expand. The vision of these atributributes flourish with the creation of "Survival in Winter Chernarus". We welcome your feedback and keep working to make each server better than the last. Our end goal of to provide a variety of different servers for each play style, difficult survival, hardcore survival, with a mix of pvp and pve.
