When a player dies in a WastelandZ server, their character's soul is sent to Purgatory, a realm where they are forced to confront the consequences of their actions. This limbo exists outside of the physical world, where time has no meaning, and the only constant is the weight of their past decisions. To escape, the player must travel across an unforgiving environment to one of the 4 travel points to bring them back to reality.

The people suffered, and the land withered under your grip. You cared little for the consequences of your actions, as long as your coffers were full and your influence was unchecked. But your greed eventually consumed you, and your empire crumbled. The people you exploited turned against you, and you were left with nothing but the dust of your own making. Now, you find yourself in WasteLandZ, forced to scavenge for scraps and fight for every morsel. Will you continue to cling to your past glories, or will you learn to appreciate the value of true humanity? The choices you make in this desolate land will determine your fate: will you find redemption, or will you succumb to the very famine you once imposed on others?"
